Birthday Cake Donut Holes

Ingredients

Donut Holes

  • 1-1/4 cup almond or cashew flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 flax egg (3 tbs of water + 1 tbs ground flax seed)
  • 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • sprinkles (optional)

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp almond milk

Instructions

  1. Add all of the donut hole ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combined.

  2. Prehead oven to 350 degrees.

  3. Roll into small balls onto a lined baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

  5. For the glaze, add all of the ingredients to a small bowl and whisk until a glaze forms.

  6. Once the donut holes have cooled off, dip the holes into the glaze. Refrigerate for 10 minutes and dip again. For a thick glaze, refrigerate and dip a third time.
