I decided to take my raw brownie truffle recipe and make delicious frosted brownie squares. The base only consists of 4 ingredients and takes a few minutes to whip up, no baking necessary. What you will need is a small food processor or blender for this recipe. I hope you all enjoy this healthy dessert!
Raw Brownie
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raw walnuts
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cacao powder or cocoa powder
- 10 dates (pitted) soaked in warm water for 15 minutes
Instructions

Soak the pitted dates in warm water for 15 minutes.

Add all ingredients to a food processor. You made need to add a dash of water depending on your consistency and size of your dates.

Once the mixture is a brownie batter substance, use parchment paper to press the dough into a rectangle.

Refrigerate while making the chocolate frosting topping.
Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

Add all ingredients to a small bowl and whisk until smooth.

With a spatula, smooth the frosting on top of the brownie and refrigerate.

Store the frosted brownie in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
