Whether it’s your family, friends or co-workers, there’s always a never ending list of people to give gifts to around the holidays. I’d like to make this year easier for you by providing a list of vegan friendly gifts. This guide isn’t just for vegans, it’s for anyone who is a health conscious individual or looking to improve their overall wellbeing. Ditch the impersonal gift cards this year, and buy presents that you can feel good about giving away. Don’t get me wrong, the go-to gift cards are stress free but I promise my list will be even easier because you won’t have to leave your house. Cheers to the wonderful world of Amazon. Without further ado, let’s get to the items on Santa’s nice list!
1. Thug Kitchen Cookbook
Do you know a vegan with a sense of humor? Whether it’s for your seasoned vegan friend or someone wanting to enhance their meatless Mondays, look no further. This cookbook is humorous, fun and makes cooking plants a lot more entertaining. We received this as a gift when we first decided to go plant-based and still use it all the time to make some awesome recipes. Check out their vegetable pad thai with dry-fried tofu!
2. Stainless Steel Taco Holders
How many households do you know that abide by the “Taco Tuesday” rule? A few weeks ago, we went to a restaurant that served tofu tacos with these urban metal holders. I was blown away when these came out that I actually think I was more excited for the holders than the tacos! The holders are guaranteed to take taco Tuesday to a whole new level, not to mention they’re super useful.
3. Tofu Press
Know of a friend that loves tofu? If you know a thing or two about tofu, it needs to be drained and pressed to release the liquid. Most likely that friend wastes 10-15 paper towels or stacks their 5 lb dumbbells on top of a plate to drain the darn thing. This contraption changed my life and it will change your friends too! All you do is slide the tofu in, tighten the hinges and you’re all set! Very easy to clean and store as well. Tofu game changer right here!
4. Coconut Bowls with Wooden Spoons
Let me just say that these reclaimed coconut shells are AWESOME. They are such a unique gift idea and they are currently on my Christmas list (hint hint). We had these at a cafe on the west coast and fell in love with them! And you can pair it was my next item…
5. Organic Acai Powder
A charming gift duo would be to pair the bowls above with acai powder. An acai bowl is a superfood that forms into a thick smoothie like consistency and can be topped with nut butters, granola, and sliced fruit. Most importantly, did I mention how fulfilling and delicious they are?
6. Fruit Infuser Water Bottle
We all have that one person in our lives that always has a water bottle in hand. How about upgrading their water bottle game with this infuser water bottle that can turn ordinary water into fresh fruit infused goodness.
7. Air Popcorn Maker
I use this Every. Single. Night. I always make a big healthy bowl of popcorn and the cleanup is easy because it’s oil free. Pair this with a bag of popcorn kernels and some fun seasonings like chili powder, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon sugar.
8. Vegan Canvas Lunch Bag
Know of a vegan who loves to fly their vegan flag? Well this is definitely a gift that can do that. This canvas lunch tote is 100% cotton and perfect for work or school. Fill it with plant-based snacks and you’ve got the perfect present.
9. Avocado Slicer, Avocado Socks, & Avocado Saver
Avocados are the new black…This 3-in-1 tool splits, pits and slices an avocado. Add an avocado saver and a pair of adorable socks to the mix and “AVO” Merry Christmas!
10. Pour Over Coffee Maker, Coffee Grinder
We purchased these for our vegan cross-country road trip and it was fantastic. Now that we’re back home, we still use this daily. Since it includes a permanent stainless steel mesh filter, paper filters aren’t needed. Great for the environmentally friendly people on your list! Just add a bag of organic coffee and dairy-free coffee creamer and you’ve got a home run!
